Surveillance van infectieziekten bij kinderen door kinderartsen en huisartsen: congenitaal rubella-syndroom
Sinds oktober 2002 coördineert de afdeling Epidemiologie van infectieziekten van Sciensano het surveillance-netwerk PediSurv. Ongeveer 350 clinici (kinderartsen in België en huisartsen in Brussel) nemen vrijwillig deel aan het netwerk en verzamelen maandelijks demografische, klinische en microbiologische gegevens over een reeks ernstige en/of zeldzame infectieziekten bij kinderen jonger dan 15 jaar. Deze dataset is een register van gevallen van congenitaal rubella-syndroom (CRS).
