Surveillance

Dataset

The LINK-VACC project links selected variables from existing registries for COVID-19 vaccine surveillance, in order to ensure the monitoring of COVID- 19 vaccines in the phase following their marketing authorization (post-authorization surveillance). This includes the measurement of uptake and coverage of the vaccination, the estimation of vaccine effectiveness, and continuous monitoring of the vaccine’s safety.

Dataset

This dataset is used with "Antimicrobial resistance - Test" Dataset to highlight the representativity of the data. The dataset is sub-divided into a common set of system related variables (technical variables) and epidemiological variables. If coverage and representativeness differs by species the epidemiological variables must be provided at microorganism level. Otherwise, if coverage and representativeness are the same for all species, one AMRCOVER record per DataSource and year is expected.

Dataset

The objective of ILI_NH is to signal and monitor start, duration and intensity of influenza-like illness or ILI (including COVID-19) waves/appearances among nursing homes (NH) residents to optimize and support provided health-care, -planning, -management and -policies. In addition, ILI_NH monitors locally circulating virus types/subtypes or lineages/sub-lineages and their relationship to global and regional patterns. We have an aggregated dataset on NH level with ILI-cases, ILI-related hospital admissions, and deaths in NH, for the whole season.

Dataset

The national wastewater-based epidemiological surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 monitors the SARS-CoV-2 presence in several wastewater treatment plants across Belgium. This dataset contains the results per treatment plant since the beginning of the surveillance in September 2020. The results consist in the SARS-CoV2 concentrations over time as well as other data needed for the interpretations such as the flow rates of the treatment plants and their covering populations.

Dataset

This dataset contains information on fatalities attributed to COVID-19 in Belgium. The data is structured to provide details on a weekly basis, specifying the age of the deceased individuals, their region of residence within Belgium, and the classification of their COVID-19 cases (e.g., confirmed, probable).
